2024 Resource Conservation Speech Contest Winners

The 63rd Annual Resource Conservation Speech Contest was held on April 6th at the State Capitol Building in Pierre. This year's contest theme was "Working Grasslands, Why Should We Care?” Six contestants participated in the contest, the top three placements were the following:

 

1st Place - Abigail Lewis (Flandreau) - $1,200 Scholarship

2nd Place - Bobbie Eide (Gettysburg) - $800 Scholarship

3rd Place - Johnathon Neuharth (Ft. Pierre) - $500 Scholarship
